Rohonda To The Rescue

 Dear Rohonda,

I am a 6th grader who is having problems with my fiends. Lately they have been acting strange and different. Sometimes they even try to ignore me. They act like I am invisible. I don't know why things have changed. I don't think I have done or said anything that would make them mad. What do youy think I should do? Please....I need your advice...how should I handle it?

Confused 6th Grader

Dear Confused 6th grader,
I think you should ask them about it, or confront them. Ask them why they have been acting strange, and not talking to you. But don’t be rude about it. Ask them very nicely. If they just won’t talk to you no matter what, and just seem angry for no reason, then I think they probably weren’t true friends to start with.
True friends will stick with you no matter what. You should work out your problems by asking what you did, or if you made them angry in some way. You can start hanging out with other friends you might not be very close with if they just don’t want anything to do with you. You might seem sad, but you will be growing new friendships even stronger!
 Sincerely
Rohonda (:

Dear Rohonda,
My girlfriend just broke up with me. She she decided she doesn't want to be with me any longer. She probably has another date for the 8th grade dance. I'm very upset abot the whole thing. We were planning to go to the dance together. I just want to take my mind off of it becasue that's all I think about. It's hard to concentrate on anything else. What shoould I do?

Help!!!
Broken Hearted

Dear Broken Heart,

It’s okay, we all go through those kinds of break ups. It's good that you want to get your mind off of things though. If I were you, I would join something else to make the pain go away. Maybe join a new sport? Or maybe you could find someone else that will make you happy and likes you for you.
Do not hold on to the grudge, go find something you are passionate about that will take your mind off of it. Plus, remember we are just in junior high; you will have plenty of time to win her back! So, good luck and enjoy just being single. Now you can have a whole lot more time to hang out with your friends on weekends and just be a kid. Don't worry about relationships, especially right now. You will have plenty of time for that later.
